About

The bill should be readable.
So we made it provable.

Verity, operated by Clear Claim Advocacy, is a consumer medical-bill intelligence tool. We turn the paperwork you can't read into evidence you can act on.

Why we exist

Medical bills are confusing by design, and the confusion is expensive. Errors are common, the rules that govern them are public but buried, and the person least equipped to catch a mistake, the patient, is the one holding the bill. Most people pay whatever the statement says because arguing feels impossible.

We think that's backwards. The rules already exist. The data already exists. What's missing is a way for an ordinary person to line their bill up against those rules and see, in plain dollars, what doesn't add up.

Verity was built out of exactly that experience. Read the founder's story →

What Verity does

You upload a bill and, ideally, the Explanation of Benefits from your insurer. Verity links them together with the underlying claim and the coverage rules into a single evidence graph, then checks every line against more than 40,000 billing and procedure codes, plus NCCI bundling edits, MUE unit limits, and fee-schedule benchmarks. Where something is wrong, we show you the dollar impact, cite the specific rule it conflicts with, and build a ready-to-send dispute package.

The scan is free. You only pay if you decide the evidence is worth acting on, and you keep 100% of whatever you recover.

Where we draw the line

Verity is self-serve on purpose. We build the evidence and generate the letters; you review, approve, sign, and submit them as yourself. We never negotiate, settle, or resolve a bill on your behalf, and we never touch any money you recover. That boundary keeps you in control of your own dispute, and it is a deliberate part of how the product is designed.

We are not a law firm, an insurer, or a healthcare provider, and we do not give legal, medical, or financial advice.

How we make money

Plainly: you pay us, not a percentage of your recovery, and not an advertiser. A flat fee per clinical episode, or a flat household subscription. No success fees, no contingency, no selling your data. When your interests and our revenue point the same direction, the incentives stay honest.
